What do you consider to be true strength?

True strength is being centered in our Self and not getting lost in the Ego's manipulations. He (the Great Ego) has an army of millions of thoughts that are poised to attack and undermine our efforts at unity. By surrendering our will to Divine Mother -- by acknowledging that She is the poower behind us all -- we become the stongest, shiniest, most beautiful beings!
Jai Maa! Jai Maa! Jai Maa Jai!
What are you excited about?

I am soooo excited! i just found out that Shree Maa and Swamiji are planning a trip to India in November! They just announced it and have invited EVERYONE to join them in Benares for a week of fire ceremonies and pujas (worship). Benares is a very holy city in India and to have the opportunity to worship there with Maa and Swamiji is an unbelievable experience.
here is a video They just released that shows previous pilgrimages. Enjoy! And plan to go with Them on this fabulous trip!

Fathersday Devi Mandir15
Actually there are two beacons in my life -- Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati.
They teach by example so there is no "do as I say" without a "do as I do."
They teach that Truth is the way to reach God in these turbulent times even though it is not easy.
They teach practical ways to form solid personal relationships with any form of the Divine that we choose.
They teach that we are ALL in this together and that by lifting each other up, we are lifting ourselves up, too.
They teach that LOVE is the answer no matter what the question.
They teach that being simple, accepting what we get and not coveting that which we don't will set us free.
AND
most of all, They teach it all like a Mother teaches Her child -- with care, in the child's language, and as many times as it takes!

Namaste everybody!
Shree Maa and Swamiji just returned from India where They spent a couple of weeks. During Their stay there, They were able to perform a pre-dawn puja to Annapurna Devi at the world famous Annapurna Temple in Benares. Visit the Devi Mandir website for a fabulous account of the expereince at http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal/node/1585/ .
Maa always says that we should never find fault with others. By finding fault we "fall" and will not be able to reach God. What is so beautiful is that She is constantly bringing these Truths to a very tangible level for those of us that need it explained in the most practical level, yours truly included.
enjoy! and may Divine Mother dwell forever in our hearts!

,Jesus (as well as every other enlightenend being in this planet from past, present, and future) said,
"Judge not lest ye be judged"
how simple is that?!
Shree Maa says that we should not judge! So justice is, by association, an unreal concept. we are not at the liberty to do it -- the Big Accountant in the Sky has it all under control so what we really need to do is be compassionate (another universal affirmation by those in the know).
We don't have all the information ( and never could) so giving each other the benefit of the doubt is true wisdom in action.
Any action taken with "bringing justice" in mind or with the desire to "set things/people straight" is nothing but a directive from the great Ego who is the Supreme General of a humoungous army of selfish thoughts.
May Divine Mother bless us all with Discrimination and Pure Love!

Is there something that you do for someone else every day?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 01, 2007:
Doing for others constitutes selfless service. It is counterproductive to talk about what you are doing for others -- this just brings the ego, now more inflated, back into the picture. Do always what you can for others, but why talk about how good you are that you do these things?
